Estonia continues. 10.5.2014

Next morning we woke up quite late and our mission was looking the Egyptian Vulture again to get some photos and get news for the possible twitchers. From our parking lot we heard Ichterine Warbler, Nuthach and Marsh Tit. We drove around the area but in four hours we saw only lots of other raptors. Many Montagu´s Harriers around including one pair with active displaying same time with Marsh Harrier pair. Male flew quite close few times and i got decent photo of it.
Also flock of 21 White Storks, one Lesser Spotted Eagle, Buzzards, Hobby and Hen Harrier.

After noon we continued driving to west and towards Pärnu. During our drive was not so many birds and we arrived after three hours of driving. Our next target place was Audru, which is huge wetland area near pärnu golf center. We stopped in three places aroudn the wetland and here is some numbers from there.

After this place it started to be late and after we did some grocery we went to Linnamäe where Tuula Mikkola haves super nice house. We had some Champagne and celebrate the Vulture this time little more than yesterday. :)
